Please read these terms carefully before using Dar al-Shifaa, our website, offerings, services, courses, retreats, memberships, or online sessions.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL NEEDS. If you experience a medical emergency, immediately call 911 or your emergency service number.

If you are thinking about suicide, considering harming yourself or others, or feel that you or any other person may be in danger, seek immediate in-person assistance.

Do not disregard, avoid, or delay obtaining in-person care from your doctor or another qualified professional because of information or advice received through this website.

These Terms and Conditions were last updated on March 1st, 2025.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to your relationship with dar-al-shifaa.com, including emails, live sessions, messaging, worksheets, retreats, webinars, courses, memberships, publications, therapy sessions, and all other offerings with Dar al Shifaa practitioners, operated by Dar Labs Group, LLC.

By accessing or using the Website, or by purchasing or enrolling in any offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. You may not use the Website if you disagree with any part of these Terms.

You confirm that you are over the age of 18, legally able to consent to receive the Services, and legally able to enter into an agreement.

You should always talk to a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment. Nothing on the Website warrants that any particular medication or treatment is safe, appropriate, or effective for you.

2. The Website

The Website is available at www.dar-al-shifaa.com and may connect you with Practitioners who provide counseling, coaching, consulting, professional advice, courses, memberships, webinars, retreats, publications, and other events.

Educational material, graphics, research, and general content are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.

The Website is provided “as is,” without express or implied warranties. The Company may modify, suspend, disrupt, or discontinue the Website or any part of it at any time.

The Company makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure reliability and accessibility but does not warrant uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or defect-free access.

The Website may contain third-party content or links. The Company is not liable for third-party products, practices, terms, policies, damage, or loss.

3. Practitioners and Services

Practitioners on the Website are independent parties and are not employees of the Company. The Company cooperates with independent licensed, certified, or accredited Practitioners where applicable.

Your relationship with a Practitioner is solely between you and that Practitioner. The Company does not interfere with or validate treatment except where needed in connection with a specific complaint.

You should not disregard, avoid, or delay medical advice from your primary doctor or qualified healthcare provider because of something read on the Website or advice received from a Practitioner.

The Services may not be suitable for everyone and are not a complete substitute for face-to-face medical or mental healthcare.

4. Your Use of the Website

Your use of the Website and reliance on its content is solely at your own risk.

You agree to provide truthful, accurate, current, and complete information about your age, residence, emergency contact, and any other required details.

You must not use the Website unlawfully or post, send, store, transmit, or deliver spam, malicious software, false information, defamatory content, abusive content, obscene content, racist content, or content that infringes third-party rights.

You must not disrupt the Website, attempt unauthorized access, use robots or scrapers, interfere with servers or infrastructure, or violate applicable law.

You must scan any files received from the Company or a Practitioner for viruses or malicious software before opening or using them.

5. Payment

Dar al-Shifaa offers paid offerings including therapy services, online or offline courses, membership plans, webinars, retreats, events, and publications. By purchasing or registering, you agree to pay all associated fees.

You may only use payment methods you are lawfully authorized to use. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, or charges.

The Company may modify fees at any time. Fee changes do not affect purchases already confirmed.

Refunds for therapy services are generally not granted for unused session time. Courses, memberships, webinars, retreats, and events are generally final sale unless otherwise indicated or required by law.

The Company may reschedule or cancel events due to low enrollment, weather, or other circumstances and may provide refunds or apply payments toward future offerings at its discretion.

Membership fees may be recurring. Cancellation is generally effective at the end of the current billing cycle, with no pro-rated refund unless otherwise stated.

The Company is not your direct provider of therapy. Only the Practitioner is considered your mental health or healthcare provider.

If payment fails or is declined, the Company may suspend or terminate access until payment is received.

6. Intellectual Property

All content available through the Website is the property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, retransmit, distribute, sell, publish, broadcast, or circulate Website content to any third party without permission.

The Company’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used without prior written permission.

7. Limitations of Liability

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Company harmless from claims, losses, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Website, use of Offerings, violation of these Terms, non-payment, or violation of third-party rights.

If you experience a problem with the Website or its content, your sole remedy is to stop using the Website.

The Company, licensors, suppliers, and third parties shall not be liable for punitive, exemplary, consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages, including personal injury, lost profits, or data loss.

The Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid through the Website in the three months prior to the claim.

8. Notices

The Company may provide notices by posting them online or sending them by email or regular mail. Notices to the Company must be sent to info@dar-al-shifaa.com.

The Company is HIPAA-compliant where applicable, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and stores private health information on HIPAA-compliant servers.

In the event of a data breach, the Company will notify you according to applicable law.

You consent to limited HIPAA-approved, de-identified review of records for purposes such as matching with a Practitioner, investigating complaints, or quality assurance.

Aggregated, de-identified data may be used for research or analytics and remains the sole property of the Company.

The Company may be required by law to store certain personal data, especially medical data, for no less than seven years.

10. Miscellaneous

The Company may transfer or assign these Terms. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without prior written consent.

No delay or omission in exercising rights shall act as a waiver.

These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the Website and Offerings.

Provisions relating to liability and indemnification survive termination or expiration of these Terms.

The Company may update these Terms by posting changes on www.dar-al-shifaa.com. Continued use after changes means you agree to the updated Terms.

If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable.

By signing up, purchasing, registering, or using Offerings, you consent to receiving marketing communications, newsletters, updates, and promotional emails. You may opt out at any time.
